Aedan's asked me to create a path based on technology, so we'll see how this goes. I'm assuming its possible, many people have suggested their were spirits in the machines. We'll find out. To start off with I think a method of detecting whats wrong, like a diagnostic ritual would be useful. One of the computers they picked up from god knows where seems to be having issues, I'll start with that one. When Aedan was teaching me alchemy he had shown me some geometric symbols, he said they were to help shape our thought. I'll start designing one for this. I think one point for each major component should be a good start. †starts drawing†
encompassed in a circle. Outside of that circle write D I A G N O S T I C 3 times completing a circle around it, and a circle around that. Now. Nothing in Thaumaturgy ever works without some blood, so I'll try writing it in my blood on the broken computer. Its going to take time, but if I keep feeling through it, I think this can work.

I tried meditating on the machine while it was on with the sigil on it drawn in blood. It was fuzzy, just fuzzy. I couldn't make out anything. I tried it with it turned off, and it was faint, like really really faint. I'm guessing because of the bios battery, otherwise I'm guessing there wouldn't be anything. Maybe if I put the sigil on my hand, both hands, one for positive, one for negative. Maybe I can figure out where the flow gets blocked.

Its better, I'm starting to sense a flow of energy through it. With time I think I can narrow in on where its going and stopping. I'll keep practicing.

Aedan came down to help me tonight on developing a better seal to work with, he thinkgs a combination of goemetrica and magic squares, combined with our blood will be more effective. We've started formulating a magic square in the center of the geometric part of the the seal. He tells me its more to train my mind then anything.

Well, it tooks us 2 hours but the new seal is complete. I've put it on the computer and started meditating on it. He says I need to build up to at least 15 minutes of focus. I'm at 2 minutes. Shit. I can't fail him. I have to do this. I have to focus.

I'm been practicing for 2 hours on and off meditating on this seal. I've started timing myself with a stopwatch, I'm up to 4 minutes and 32 seconds. When I meditate on it, its strange, like I can see inside the computer, but it looks different. Like its in a virtual world and not the real world. Not an accurate description, but the best one I can come up with. I'm starting to feel alot more confident about this project. Aedan keeps reminding me that I've already managed to create a beginning blood ritual. He keeps telling me not to fret over it, but there is so much for us to do. The fact that he's so understanding makes me try even harder. I want him to always be proud of me like he is now.

Today I got up to 7 minutes. I realize its not the physical part of the inside I'm seeing, I'm seeing the paths of energy. Whats more, I can see residual energy, it looks dimmest at the hard drive, I think thats where the problem is.

Changed the hard drive, it worked!!!
Unfortunately, I already suspected the hard drive. So its possible it was my imagination, though I don't think so. I'm going to have to get an assistant. It can't be a man, Aedan would flip. First time he tried to hit on me he would burst into flames, and Aedans accuracy is getting crazy good. At the same time, I don't want to get jealous, theirs already enough beautiful women in this house, and I know at least one other is bound to him, so while she may not show it, I know she wants him. I like her, but I would burn her to ash if she touched him like that. Oh, back to the matter at hand. I guess it can be a women, being my assistant Aedan will definitely let me blood bind and embrace them. If she loved me like I love Aedan, their is no way she would betray me. That still leaves Lilith. I'll deal with that if it comes up I suppose. I'll need to go to the club tonight, I don't need someone insanely intelligent, but decently brite. Smart enough I can teach them basic computer components, and how to mess them up without making it externally obvious, so I can do a true blind test.

It became obvious to me that Lilith wants Aedan as badly as I do. I don't know what to do. Its not her fualt. Did Aedan not realize what this bond is like?!
Nikolai lent me a ghoul for the blind test, they apparently had computer knowledge already, they were just in here long enough to mess up 3 different computers while I left the room.

When I focused over the first one, I noticed the residual power where the memory goes was incredibly weak, nothing else seems wrong. I opened it up, and reseated the memory sticks, both of them were loose. SUCCESS!

The second one was the power supply, and the third one was the bios battery.

I talked to Aedan last night, and he surprised me. He had us both drink of each others blood, and again tonight. Whats more is he's blood bonding himself to both of us. He had no idea the full effects of the blood bond, but now that he does, he's giving himself to both of us, When I say it it sounds weird, but after the second drink its starting to feel natural. I'm starting to want both of them. I'm actually getting excited about it. Aedan really can find a solution to anthing.

Now for the painful part, I'm taking the most outdated computers and I'm going to try to burn out the individual components.

It took me 5 tries, but I burned out a hard drive!!! I could hear it spinning like crazy! And the machine is off!!! When I tried to power it back on, it gave an invalid hd error. YES!!
This night is wonderful, just wonderful

I'm able to not only see the energy paths in the machine, but I'm getting better at burning out the individual components. More then that I don't need it powered on anymore, though it seems to make it easier to burn out components. My success rate isn't as high as I'd like, but its definitely a start. I've ordered some cheap used computers online to continue, I don't want to burn out all the ones I have, so far I've managed to keep the damage to two units.

I burned out a hard drive in 5 minutes that was on. 8 minutes when it was off. Its enough to know I can do it, but not fast enough yet to be practical. I need to be able to do it as quickly or its useless outside of a lab. I was talking to Frederich of Forces Division, he has thrown me together a simple circuit board to continue testing. That way when it burns out all I need to do is change out the individual components. It seems like maybe I should have started here.

I've noticed it felt different when I burned out the capacitor as opposed to a resisitor. The resistor was easier to burn out, the capacitor made it take alot longer. I need to work on being able to identify them in a machine, it will make them near impossible to fix, and much easier to break.

Its harder then I thought to identify them. Their so small, the power fluctuation is so faint. I know it will just take me practice. and I'm practicing.

After concentrating for over 7 minutes I could make them out faintly, they have their own energy pattern, now that I'm getting familiar with it, I'm hoping it will be easier, but I need a break, closing down for the night.
