Jenn had just been following Harvey when she met up with him halfway through the tunnel. "There you are." she said. "Anything down that way? Did it lead outside? Was there any trail in the snow?" she asked him as she changed direction and they both headed to where the bones were. When the arrived, Elisabeth had that look in her eyes, the look that said she wanted something. Jenn stopped in her tracks, waiting.

Elisabeth smiled, not a comforting look. "Jennifer." she said. "You did see those two that we think are missing, did you not?" she asked.

Jenn frowned. "Yeah.." she said slowly. "At the fight, the arena. One of them wouldn't stop staring at me."

"Were they among those who.. got the best of you earlier?" the Ductus asked.

Jenn shook her head. "No, they weren't. It was mostly Rhiann and the others. All of them were among the ones we killed." she answered.

Elisabeth took in the information. Finally she nodded. "I'll talk to a higher authority then; have them watched for in the area but I don't think we will need to pursue them. They can run like the rodents they are." she said. A pleased smile sat on her lips. She'd wiped out her old rival. It didn't matter that two of his had gotten away; Samuel was dead, his true supporters were dead. That was all that mattered. "That is it then. If there is nothing else, we shall return home." she announced.

Elisabeth turned back sharply on Harvey. "Are you questioning my decision to come here tonight?" she asked harshly, staring at him intently, looking for the slightest sign of defiance in his eyes. "It was my decision if they were worth the time and I deemed that they were. Are you disagreeing with that? Because, if so, I think we might just have a little problem of our own." she said, her voice measured but full of authority and threat. "And you've seen tonight how I deal with problems." she said.

Everyone in the pack all moved slightly towards their Ductus, making it clear whose side everyone would be on if the Assamite said the wrong thing. The Ductus was the Ductus and nobody wanted to be on her bad side. Elisabeth's cold blue eyes seemed to pierce into Harvey's very soul as she stared at him, awaiting an answer. He may not have meant the statement as anything but it could be perceived as disagreeing with her orders to wipe out the other pack and she had to make it clear to him and to anyone else that challenges to her authority would be met with full force. That was the way, that was her path and the path she was teaching Jennifer. Anything less was a sign of weakness.

Jenn was standing slightly behind Elisabeth now and out of sight of her Sire, she gave Harvey a serious look with concerned eyes. She shook her head, then bowed it very slightly and nodded towards their Ductus, hoping he would realize that the only way to get out of this was to submit to her authority.

He looked at her "No they had to be killed for even thinking they could challenge us. But judging by how easily we stomped them into the ground shovel heads might have been able to do this. My problem with this is that none of these pathetic bastards was worth the blood used to make them, not with your decision." It wasn't the first time his philosophy was confused with insolence, some just didn't take the time to think and understand before speaking. But such was he life of one such as him self.

Elisabeth smiled her cruel smile, leaning towards Harvey. "They might have been but it wouldn't have been satisfying enough..." she almost purred as she brought up a blood soaked hand. She straightened up again. "Of course they weren't worth being called Sabbat! That is why we had to cleanse them from our faction.. that and their arrogant attempt to strike out at us." she added. "By culling out the weak we make ourselves stronger so that we might one day win our war against those who would seek to control us." She turned, beginning to walk towards the exit but then stopped, taking the skull from the pile. "I think this shall look nice in my boudoir." she said, staring into the empty, black eye sockets of Samuel's cranium. She then continued out.

Jenn began to follow, along with everyone else. She strode up beside Harvey. "Close call there." she said to him. "She's beaten people for less than that before you know..." she added, meaning mostly herself. Then again, Elisabeth treated Jenn more harshly than any of the others of the pack. Jenn chose to view it though as an honour; she was treated more harshly because Elisabeth wanted her to succeed at this life and was grooming her for it. At least that's what she thought.
