Sabbat territory, the last place Vergil would have ever guessed he would be in. Being a tremere traitor, however, pretty much forced him into this predicament. It was indeed a much more hostile and dangerous environment but it was one where his ex-'allies' were less likely to roam. They preferred to make smarter decisions than to just dive right into the snake pit. Vergil, however, since birth had a bit more of a loose screw and even reveled in the adrenaline of danger.

He rode around Jacksonville, Florida in a stolen Tesla Model S. He simply fried the systems, sucked the owner dry and re-juiced the car, making it his main form of transportation. Running around on foot as a Camarilla vampire in Sabbat territory was close to suicide. At least in this vehicle he had a more secure means of getting around.

One spot which he grew accustomed to, for all the feeding potential, was the Hourglass pub on East Bay St, by the harbour. These past few nights he had spent roaming the area, ready to take the vitae of anyone stumbling from outside the bar. Vergil drove up Marsh St, where he was ready to turn in the direction of the Hourglass Pub when a drunk, stumbling woman caught his attention. Apparently, he had caught hers as well. The tremere traitor was dark skinned with kinky curly hair cut in a ceaser, 6'3" in height with a slender build, albeit with broad shoulders. He wore a bright red vest with a black dress shirt underneath, with black slacks. The woman herself was of the same complexion and in her drunken stupor must have familiarised herself with him. If only she knew the danger she was stepping foot in. She reached the passenger side of the car, almost tackling the auto in her stumbling as Vergil rolled down the window. He had a perpetual smirk with his canines just barely visible. `You headin' somewhere, baby? Let me give you a lift. You're in no condition to walk.` Vergil said as the woman nodded drunkenly and opened the passenger door, sloppily getting inside. `Yes, babe, you wouldn't believe.. the bullshit I went through at the Hourglass.. fuckin' rich bastards just buyin' me drinks tryin' to get in my pants.. got my ass up outta there.. I seen you here before, I know I could trust you, babe, I just need to get home.. my house is this way.`

Trust a tremere traitor whose only intention at the moment is wringing her neck dry of all the vitae he could manage. These mortals.. they were something else, Vergil thought, still with the slyest of smirks on his face. `I got you, baby.` He said, flooring on the gas, locking the doors, as he headed in the direction the woman pointed. Little did she know, she was leading him right to his feeding spot.

Upon waking, Aedan laid there for a few moments, staring at the ceiling of a tent. Oh, how this sucked. Nor would he allow such a thing to last. Someone was going to pay dearly for this.

He got up, off a cot. Everything about this was pissing him off. Its not like he'd never slept on a cot, he was an eagle scout in his human youth, and had slept on a hell of alot worse, but at least in some ways he had gotten spoiled. He stood up. A hotel at the very least to get cleaned up was in order.

He walked out, everyone was still just beginning to stir, he did see Janice, "Jan, hon, I think we could all use a little clean up and civilization, do me a favor, get with Lydia, tell her I said we need to take over a portion of the Omni in Jacksonville, and if she has any questions, to call me. half a floor should do. Do you have her contact info?" "I do indeed, and I am on it." She said, seemingly of the same mind. He chuckled to himself. He should have known better, it was Nikolai's child, one of his most faithful and talented.

He looked around to see if Evy had arose yet, knowing she'd want to get out of here for abit, and afterwards they would try this whole feeding in Jacksonville thing....

Evelyn woke up in complete darkness. Or almost complete save for a small line of light coming in under the door of the office she had taken over for her day of sleep. It seemed at least one person in Aedan's entourage was an early riser and had turned all the lights on for the encroaching night. Evy stretched in the abandoned chair that had remained in the room, careful not to dislodge the still sleeping catfinn on her chest. It was a habit to stretch more than anything else; since her Embrace, muscles did not tend to stiffen or become sore from discomfort really. After spending the night in the chair which, through use, lacked much cushioning anymore, she felt that she should be sore and stiff, though was thankful that she was not. Gently, she woke Mischief up and, after the animal had done its own yawning and stretching, took its position on Evy's shoulders as she stood and headed for the door.

Still heavily on her mind was her thoughts from the night before... but there was not much to do about that at the moment. They had a set task to accomplish and it would do no good to become distracted. She winced as she opened the door and the UV light poured in, a giant contrast to how she had had it in the office. She remember that Aedan had mentioned something about getting some food again tonight. She had come close to having had her fill the night before, even with the interruption, but she could do with a bit more even so. It would be nice to be out and about anyways.

As she returned to where most of the Travians had bedded down in tents, she saw Aedan and steered towards him. "I can't say I would have ever expected to sleep in a grocer's.. though I am loath to admit that I've slept in worse... unspeakably worse.." she said as she came to a stop before him with a slight grimace. "Desperate needs and all that..." She was very much missing her place back at the chantry quarters, a place she had managed to bring up to the level of style befitting a Lasombra. At least... when Mischief wasn't living up to her name. "So.. you were mentioning hunting tonight?" she asked.

The ride in the Tesla was smooth, an exceptionally built vehicle for sure. A bit ironic for a vampire whose main power involved electricity to be driving a car named after the quissential master of electricity. Vergil slowed the car down as he approached a familiar alley and he took a glance over at the mortal sitting in the passenger seat. At this point she was close to being fast asleep, until something jolted her out of the zone she was in. `Where.. are we?` she slurred, `Is this... home?`

Vergil looked her in the eye with the slyest of smirks on his dark-skinned face. `Perhaps.` he said, stopping the car and sliding a hand over her exposed thigh; she had only been wearing a leather skirt with a jean jacket and a tank top underneath. `As electrifying as your beauty is, I don't know if I could take you to your house just yet.` he said as she looked at him with drunken eyes, though it seemed deep down she didn't mind the advances he seemed to be making. `What is your name, babe?` he asked her, his voice as smooth as the silk on his vest.

`Valerie, love.. and yours?` she responded, now sliding her own hand on Vergils thigh. The tremere took pleasure in the returned advances. Valerie indeed was a beauty that even he could appreciate, something that had become quite lost to him during his Tremere indoctrination. He couldn't deny it now as the feelings surged through him like lightning. By far, Valerie had been the most beautiful mortal he had laid eyes upon. It was quite difficult to discern at first as his only and primary goal was to feed off of her but perhaps there was more in store for her than he had originally planned. `Vergil. The greatest of pleasures to be acquainted with you, my love.` he replied as a big smile creeped on her drunken face.

Valerie then took it upon herself to bring her face closer to Vergils as he had the car stopped. Perhaps she wasn't as drunk as he had thought. The Tremere traitor looked back at her and they both exchanged kisses. It was the perfect moment for Vergil now. During one of their pauses he went straight for her neck, digging his fangs in as she gasped. Vergil began to suck blood from Valerie as she gasped and breathed out in what seemed like an orgasm as her blood served like a short refilling of Vergils Vitae. Her eyes rolled back as Vergil went to work./

"The arrangements for the Omni have been made, we're on the 9th floor. Your check in name is John Prospero. I thought, after the incident with your landing, that it may be best to use a alias in this instance." She said with a smile.

"My reputation proceeds me?" He said, in an attempt to make it sound good, "And how's that working out?" She seemed as if she had to keep from laughing. "Sorry...I'll uh...see on transportation..." she said turning away, "Oh, and Lydia wanted me to let you know that she's already acquired a new property for HQ, but renovations are being done to make it ready."

Definitely Nikolai's childe... he thought.

With the security breach, a team had been dispatched to acquire suitable, secure transportation. Translated, they ghouled a couple that owned a limo service, and made clan Travius their financial sponsors, and only customers. The vehicles had been inspected and steam cleaned, but they needed customization. That would have to wait of course. Most of the fleet consisted of boxy limo's from the late 80's, with a few from the late 90's. They would have to do.

Aedan went to find his catfin, grabbing him by the nape of his neck, "There you are, you Shady little bastard, your coming with daddy. You've caused enough problems for ops, time for you to tear up a nice hotel room, but please don't. Relax, watch TV, play with Mischief in a way that doesn't require us to invest in the hotel." He said, as he placed him on his shoulder,

"Oh, to your question, food, yes, but after we change and get cleaned up. Most of us will caravan to the Omni now, while the remaining will stay to pack up. As soon as the new HQ is ready, we'll want to make the transition. This is a good place to hide, but not to secure."

He knew he should be worried about a masquerade violation, but a certain amount of emotional exhaustion was taking effect, "I was thinking of putting him in a kennel, but to be honest, i don't think its necessary. Most won't notice, those that do will think it a trick, and anything serious, dominate is always an option. I'm ready when you are, Evy."

They all came in such a large group, the poor clerk behind the counter seemed almost overwhelmed. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, he was more the rubber mallet. Not sharp, but still useful for a purpose.

"Must be sum kinda cunventon, huh?" He asked, wide eyed, looking for an explanation..."Yea, convention," Aedan answered, Just give me my keycards!!! he thought, "Wow...errrr...what kinda cunventon?!" Aedan looked at him, stared directly at him, making the man visibly uncomfortable. He held that pause for a bit, then his eyes shifted left and then back to the man. "History. A history convention. Yea, no one really cares about history anymore, hence our current state of affairs as a nation. Now, can I get my keycards?"

While waiting for the elevator, Aedan looked at Daniel and nodded. It was likely nothing, but they couldn't take the risk. Besides, what the clerk didn't remember wouldn't hurt him....

Evelyn was silently relieved at the interruption.. not so much the act but more the information that it imparted. She glanced around at the ex-grocery store, knowing that she would not miss the place. The comfort of a real bed was something she had long ago learned to appreciate. A life.. or unlife on the run, of constantly having to make do with places to sleep for the day, places sometimes barely habitable, was something she hoped to be able to leave well behind. As Aedan cautioned his own catfinn, Evy arched an eyebrow at him. "And you think he... either of them will listen to you?" she asked doubtfully, hearing Mischief's increased purring on her own shoulder. They were simply incorrigible.

She nodded as the Travian told her about what the plan now was and she made a disagreeable sound in the back of her throat when he mentioned the building in which they currently stood. "Perhaps a good place to hide but by far not a good place to spend the day. It's simply not worthy of us." she replied. If Aedan and his people enjoyed sleeping in this place, well on for them... but it wasn't appropriate for a Lasombra by any means. That was something she would make well sure of if and when she was able to begin siring a line: all her progeny would be of or learn proper class. It was only right, and necessary to bring back what the Lasombra were meant to be. "It will not be too soon to be leaving this place."

She arched an eyebrow again. "A kennel? That.. would be a worse idea, Aedan. Just look at what happened to our rooms at the chantry flats when we were gone one day..." she reminded him. If they left the catfinns at a kennel, she would imagine the carnage would be all the worse for it being a place unfamiliar to the creatures. She gestured with an arm. "I am ready to leave this.. place." she agreed.

--------------------------

As they entered the hotel lobby, Evelyn glanced around. Not bad.. not bad, she thought. Not what she had been accustomed to before her Embrace but it would do for now. It pretended to be elegant at least. One day she would only settle for more but for now, well, it was far better than a ex-grocery store. She listened with only half an ear as Aedan dealt with the desk clerk as she watched the few humans move around the mass of Travians, some other patrons of the hotel, some employees. In the cloth bag she carried in her arms, she felt Mischief move and shift. She had asked the creature to remain silent until they got to the rooms and, for once, it seemed the catfinn had listened to her thankfully. Another individual, just come in the lobby, caught her attention. Surreptitiously, she studied the man as they waited for the keycards. As Aedan and the others began to move towards the elevators, Evy paused, deciding whether to approach the man or not.

( Ok Deon, hopefully I left an opening here for Vergil. If its not Vergil, I can make it that the guy Evy is staring at was just a tasty looking human she was thinking of snacking on XD. )

As Valerie recovered from her blissful state, in complete disbelief about the sensations, Vergil wiped blood from his chin as he stared ahead through the windshield. He himself had been in an altered state now, feeling a bit inebriated. Vergil had fed from a few humans fresh out of that bar though it seems they were not drunk enough to elicit any effect like that upon, apart from Valerie. He was far from being plastered but he could definitely feel he was in a state that was more than a buzz. So.. that's possible then? He thought to himself as he took rein of the vehicle once more.

After a few moments, Valerie had come to, staring at Vergil as if he was some sort of god. She had been relieved of her drunken state, somewhat and sat up straight in her seat. `Wow..` she started. `I can't go home yet no, I need more of you.` she said as a devilish smirk crossed Vergils face. `There's a hotel.. the Omni, and it's really close to here. Let's go there, I'll even pay the room, I just can't go home right now, no.` she continued, clearly taken aback by the experience just now. She was perhaps acting a little bit irrational, seeing as she had just met the Tremere and had no idea what he was capable of doing. That didn't matter to Vergil, however, who gwould gladly follow through on those plans.

`Of course, babe and don't be ridiculous. Everything is on me.` he said, chuckling to himself as Valerie led him through the city, giving him directions to the Omni hotel. Once they arrived, Vergil left his car in the lot and entered the building into the main lobby with Valerie. He stumbled just the slightest bit in his steps, a bit shocked that feeding could have that effect on him. As the two approached the check-in, Vergil couldn't help but notice another woman looking at him. He exchanged looks with her but could also.. feel something about her. He looked around to see that a man appeared to be with her as well, giving off the same vibe he was feeling.

He smirked as he approached the woman, standing in line behind her. `This hotel.. is it any good? Have you been here before? I need to know before I waste my time and money on something so sub-par.` he asked her.

Evelyn had tried to stay subtle in her scrutinizing of the man standing behind them, with a woman hanging off his arm, but obviously she had not been careful enough., as his eyes met hers. There was something about the man, something she had long ago come to recognize. Though he was dark-skinned, it was not a healthy, hearty.. mortal colouring. Though the paler, ashen tone did not make a vampire necessarily stick out like a sore thumb, it was still often recognizable to others of their kind. Sh was certain he was a vampire, but whether Camarilla, independent or Sabbat was the question. This being Sabbat territory, she feared the answer. At least, she had backup right behind her and the man seemed to be solitary save for his obviously mortal companion.

She tried to remain nonchalant, acting as though she'd only been looking around but the man approached anyways, stopping in what was, more or less, the line behind her. She knew that she stuck out perhaps even more so than the dark-skinned man, with her dated appearance that she had a very hard time even thinking of giving up. And then the man spoke, directing a question to her. The second she answered, it would even further emphasis that she was not of these parts, as they would say, given her high-class English accent. Still, she would not lower herself to acting rudely, not when she was in a superior position for the moment. "I'm sorry, I've not been here before myself." she answered. "But I've been assured that this hotel is at the least satisfactory."

She cast a quick glance back at Aedan, catching the Travian's eye. They couldn't let a vampire identify them here and walk out without finding out whom he was and what were his intentions with said information. Aedan had plenty of men all around them. One Kindred or Cainite, and one mortal would be no trouble. She returned a small facade of a smile to the dark-skinned man. "I'm here as part of a group, a history convention." she added, going on Aedan's lie to the desk clerk. She waved a hand at some of the group of Travians as she studied the man's eyes for any hints. "As are my colleagues. Do you have an interest in history? Life can be.. long, and it serves one well to know something of history. To better head into the future. Perhaps you'd be interested in attending... We are only here for the evening." she offered, giving a doubtful side glance at the woman hanging off the man's arm. Well, in either case, they both would be visiting with the Travians. I was the only way to remain safe.

( I'm curious about the smirk Vergil gave Evy. Is that because he caught her looking or...? Cause it's kind of.. mean to do to a perfect stranger lol. I was going to add something back about it in my post but I'm not sure what you intended with it... )

`History... convention.` Tilting his head slowly to the side and revealing a semi-smirk, Vergil repeated in a doubtful manner, though not so much to offend the woman before him. The vibe she gave off was something that felt familiar to the Tremere and yet, at the same time, very foreign. This simple fact would intrigue him to no end. `I would be ecstatic to join you and your group in such an event. It's not everyday we get to revel in the marvels that is history; indeed it is as exciting as they come.` Vergil said in a subtly sarcastic manner, able to hide the true nature of his words quite well, enough that perhaps these guests would not pick up on it, as he looked towards the group. There was quite a few of them but numbers never elicited fear into Vergil, in fact very few things did. This seemed enough out of the ordinary to follow through on and see what these people were really doing.

Valerie threw the Tremere an annoyed look as she realised that he would be dragging them into this convention. Vergil, however, completely disregarded her expression. `Ah, how rude of me as well. My name is Vergil and this here is Valerie.` the Tremere said, gesturing towards the mortal clasped against his arm. `What would your name be? In addition, what time would this lovely convention be starting? I wouldn't miss it for the world.` he added, extending his free arm towards the woman, gesturing for a handshake.

Aedan looked at the new 'guest' and paused. Definitely vampire, his guest was definitely human, she was alive, and he was dressed pretty sharp. Didn't seem to be sabbat, but hard to tell. She looked pretty well clueless of the world around her, so she was likely a snack.

"Well, why don't you come with us, and we'll get you registered..." He said with a warm smile. His suite had a conference table that would do well for the matter at hand.

He walked to the elevator, pressed the button, waited...

**in the background, the clerk his descended upon...**

♪♫du du, dudu, du du,dudu OOC:'futurama™ theme♫♪
**held down, and quickly dominated..**

♪♫DING♫♪

"I hope you don't mind, its for his safety of course...and ours." He said in a matter of fact tone before getting into the elevator. Evy and the rest got in as well, followed by their new guest .

"We have a conference room in my suite, should make a suitable place for talking indiscriminately." He said, in a calm, almost tired tone. As they got off, he looked around, looking for the marking telling him which direction his room was. He walked down the hall, slipped in a card, and a beep and green light later and the door was open.

Seeing a round conference table, he took a place at the seat closest to the window, facing the door, pulling the chair to his right out for Evy, and motioning to her. "Please, allow me to introduce myself, I'm Aedan Travius, scourge of Tremere, founder of the Travius bloodline, and currently, at least, camarilla's champion against the Sabbat. So you'll have to forgive me for getting to the point, but exactly who's side are you on in all of this?" He asked looking him dead in the eye. He didn't use dominate, not yet, he wanted to hear him speak first.

The girl looked confused, and even laughed a little bit, it was obvious she had no idea what to make of any of it, but her laughs were becoming....nervous.
