Elysium

„She didn‘t say much, before disappearing in the crowd... Said that she was searching for you, because the other person she was searching for was missing... Prim... no Prince was it... Not sure, she was glaring with quite the fierce eyes, so I just overheard a little bit of her talking with someone on the phone...“ Jane played the role of an confused worker. The Ravnos wasn‘t going to say anything of her, because she knew what will happen if she did. Still for her to be here... did someone hired her to kill someone? Something wasn‘t quite right here.

Keira frowned. This woman who had come in must have been Kindred as she knew of the Prince but for her to bring a visible weapon into an Elysium.. Unfortunately, Keira couldn't ask Jane if she knew WHICH prince this other woman had been looking for; the change in the leadership had occurred quite recently. She'd have to contact Archon in any case as the breach in Elysium would have to be reported. This meant of course, they would have to find a way around police involvement.

"Did this woman threaten with the weapon at all?" she asked Jane. "If not, we could possibly forgo reporting this to the police and just keep an eye out for her in the future. A weapon in the club would be bad press.." she explained. It was at least true if not the full reason Keira would prefer to keep the Kine away from the incident. "If you were threatened though, that is another matter. I want to be sure my employees and any guests of the club not only feel but ARE safe here."

She glanced over to Anna who nodded. "I got the description. I'll go and inform security of who to watch for." the bartender said before departing, leaving Keira and Jane.

„I wasn‘t threatened... I suppose it is true about the bad press though. I will keep my mouth shut.“ Jane replied and sighted „with relieve“. She took a quick look around in search for the Ravnos. She wasn‘t anywhere to be seen. She might have already hit the road for the night, but the ravon‘s abilities could have been used... „ Seriously the last week or two have been so unreal. First people falling from a tall building on the other side of the road now a armed woman comes at my working place...“ The gangrel began with a sight. After that she turned towards Keira.“ Did you hear about it? It seemed that there was a gang war or something downtown some days ago. It was quite the chaos then. I was just walking home when it happened. Some armed men ran past me and into one of the buildings. Good thing I ran before the shooting began.“ Jane leand on the bar.“ I could have been hit by a stray bullet... On top of that two guys fell from the top floor... I‘ve never been so scared in my life I ran all the way to my home without rest...“

Keira's face went blank for a moment. "I.. heard about the incident but the news only reported falling glass from the gunfight. They said nothing about two men falling from the top floor." she said. She knew perfectly well though who those two men had been and had been involved in that gunfire but they had made sure there was nothing for the Kine authorities to find.

She allowed a concerned look onto her face, most of it was genuine in fact. "You were nearby when that happened? I couldn't imagine.. It must have been terrifying." she said. "It's well that you managed to escape without injury." Keira only hoped that this Kine had not seen her nor any of her group that night.

„Well yeah, like I said just before the whole shooting began, those men ran past me to get to the building. I was actually freezed with fear for a while, but when those fell, I ran. I had nightmares the whole night afterwards...“ She made her hands shudder a little.“ I‘m used to strange things to happen, but that was quite the event. You know, I even survived an attack from a very big wolf once. I was going home after lectures and the sun was already down. While I was passing through the park, a big wolf just came out of nowhere and attacked me. I panicked and ran, for my luck there was a policeman nearby. When I reached him, there was no trace from the wolf anymore. The policeman though I was on drugged or drunk, so he just drove me home...“ Jane laughed a little.“ You know I still sense a presence in the shodows sometimes and even see dog like shadows before they disappear...“

Keira arched an eyebrow. "It's very wise to be on guard for what might be in the shadows." she said cryptically. "It may just save your life." She thought again about what she was saying before adding more. "What I mean is there are dangerous people out there, not to mention animals I suppose. But some of us have no choice in the matter...." she ended with a sigh.

„It is truth alright. The things that dwell in the darkness of the night can be pretty darn dangerous...“ Jane replied with a smile on her face. Keira seemed like a nice woman and the Gangrel kind of regretted that she was posing as a human for a moment.“ Now that I think about it I kind of met a Vampire...“ Jane stopped the sentence in purpose.“... or atleast he said he was. When he tried to bite me, his teeth fell of and I smacked him in the face with a beer bottle . Ahhh good times!“

Keira's brow furrowed. "A.. vampire? I expect there is no such thing." she said flatly. "Wouldn't one think that if vampires were real, a bottle to the face would not be much of a deterrent to one if it meant you harm. I would imagine it was someone pretending using prosthetic fangs, hmm? There are some rather odd people out there.." An amused smile crept on to her face. "Seems like you ran across a rather silly person."

Beneath the smile though, Keira was concerned. It was almost too much of a coincidence that this woman had brought up the topic of vampires. Did she know something? Was this a carefully veiled threat? They had dealt with a masquerade breach months previous but there were still some Kine who knew. This Jane though did not seem a ghoul as far as Keira could tell though it was still entirely possible. It was just as possible she could be a hunter. She'd have to be sure to have an eye kept on this woman.

„I think so indeed. I mean he was no vampire at all, but still to hit him with the bottle was so amusing... The guys at the parties often swarm around me like flyes on honey and it get‘s quite annoying after a while.“ Jane said with annoyance as she rubbed her eyes with her palms.“ Ahhh... I soo need a drink right now...“ The Gangrel leaned on the bar with an exhausted look on her face.“Mind if I take a beer for myself? I will pay for it..“

Keira sent back a polite smile. "Go right ahead. On the house." she told Jane. "For your troubles tonight."
Keira let slip a wry grin. "If you happen to see any 'vampires' in here, tell me." she said, half joking. She was baiting the woman, to see her reaction but hiding it behind a simple joke. She could see Anna working her way back. She turned to Jane again. "Feel free to come and tell me if you have any more problems or concerns. I am usually at my customary table." she said, pointing to where she had been sitting.

She started off, catching Anna on the way back to her table. She pulled the bartender aside quickly. "Keep an eye on this Jane. It may just be coincidence but I think she might know about us. I don't trust my life or my club to coincidence."

Anna nodded once before continuing back to the bar.
