Re: Elysium
“I see, I see…” Jane replied and continued to serve the drinks she received orders for. She felt almost like a busy bee worker. Still it was very pleasant job for her: meeting people, listening to good music and everything else was nice. Even Anna who seemed like an cold person on the outside.
“COME HERE YOU BASTARD!” Suddenly someone shouted near the bar. There was a fight forming and before someone could even react there was already someone on the floor. Jane quickly jumped over the bar and ran to the person on the floor. The other one was already held by the security.
“Make way!” The Gangrel shouted and pushed away some bystanders to reach the injured person on the ground. He didn’t appear to have any serious injuries, just a cut on the bottom lip from maybe a stray punch.” Phewww… I feared that it would be worse…” Jane sighed, but the man started to whimper.” Ohh please… are you a man at all… Can you hand me some ice?” She asked Anna and turned towards the bleeding man again.” Seriously, are all man today whimps like you…”

Re: Elysium
Anna was right behind Jane as she moved towards the fight. Thanks though to the good security, it was over before it had really begun. The band hadn't even had a chance to stop playing before the scuffle was over. She gave a nod to the head bouncer nicknamed Tiny as he held an irate man in an iron-strong hold. The man quickly stopped struggling as he realized it was futile.
"It rarely gets worse than this." Anna replied. "We have good people watching out for this kind of thing." she said as she waved to one of the veteran servers near the bar. She made a gesture which was received. Over the years and because the music, at one point they had made up certain hand gestures for drink orders and ingredients, one of them being ice. The server was with them with a towel full of ice cubes in short order, handing it off to the man on the floor.
The white towel the man now held against his own lip quickly soaked up the red blood. Anna stared at it for a moment in reflection. At Jane's comment though, she put a hand to the other woman's shoulder. "Try to treat the customer with a little more.. tact." she said flatly as she helped the man to his feet and over to a seat at a nearby table. She turned to him. "Do you want the police?" she asked him, following policy for incidents like this among the Kine.
The man looked to the aggressor, still restrained by Tiny but then shook his head in negative. "It was just a misunderstanding." he mumbled over the towel, ice and now swelling lip. Anna shrugged and waved at Tiny. The bouncer gripped the man tighter and pulled him towards the exit to forcibly remove him from the premises.
The injured man stood up and pulled the towel from his lip, which was still bleeding sluggishly. He started to hand it back but Anna waved it away. "Keep it. We have more towels...." she told him. He put it back against his chin but turned and made his way towards the exit.
Anna sighed. "He's going to go after the other guy now." she said to Jane, shaking her head. She'd seen it before a few times and it often didn't end well. At least they'd be out of the club but it could cause some trouble here for a few nights. She didn't want to get involved in Kine affairs though.

Re: Elysium
Aynn looked around, spotting Mirella and her.....sire? Father? Aynn honestly wasn't sure at this point, but they were close, closer then her and Archon for sure. She nudged Keira and pointed to the two as they slowly approached, whispering, "I think this night is about to get interesting...huh?" She couldn't help but smile as she raised a single hand, flagging them over, and speaking first as they arrived, "Why hello there you two. I was kind of......indisposed back at the bar the other night. The name was Aynn, it's a pleasure to meet you in a more delicate setting." She bowed a slight curtsy and smiled wide. If she was going to dress up like this, she might as well enjoy it.

Re: Elysium
Keira turned away from the painting she had been admiring at Aynn's whisper to see the three Elders. She bowed her head in deference to her Elders and Prince as they approached as Aynn began to speak. Mirella gave a smile back to her grand-childe. Keira gave a glance over to Marie, making sure her own childe behaved just as respectfully. She took in the two hanging on to Ambrogio's arm and decided to do away with titles at the moment, just in case.
"Archon, Mirella, Ambrogio." she greeted them, trying to quash the urge to play the hostess when she was not. "A pleasure to see you this fine evening."
She looked to Ambrogio. "Marvellous works! Simply stunning!" she said, gesturing especially to the painting she had been looking at.

“Guys like him are just idiots…” Jane said, watching the wounded man leaving the bar.”. Sometimes it’s better to just forgive or ignore…” The gangrel sighed and jumped over the bar to get to her place. Afterwards all continued as before and everyone basically forgot that there was an incident. But it was like that in clubs and such places.
“Awwww…” Jane stretched her arms in an attempt to release some of the pressure that kept piling up from the constant serving and afterwards rubbed her right eye with the top of her palm.” So, what’s the schedule? Which days am I to come?”

Re: Elysium
Anna gave her a sidelong glance. "Of course it's better. It's just not often human nature.." she replied a moment before a bang from outside could just barely be heard over the music. Some people looked around but as nothing seemed to be happening, quickly resumed what they were doing. Anna noticed though that at least a couple of security headed towards the front entrance.
A few moments later Tiny returned, followed by the security guys who had just gone out. Tiny's expression was on of annoyed but tightly controlled anger. He had a small hold in his black shirt which was visible as he got close to the bar area. The skin beneath the hole seemed unscathed though. Tiny shook his head as he walked up to the bar. He was anything but what his name suggested. He leaned his bulk against the wooden bar. "The victim decided to bring a little toy to the party outside." he said in an incredibly deep voice.
Anna knew he meant a gun. She simply shook her head. "Any problems?" she asked.
Tiny shook his head in negative then glanced at the nearby Jane before replying. "Shot went wide, tore my shirt but missed me." he said, with a look telling Anna that the shot hadn't missed him. Tiny was Kindred and would have easily taken the lone bullet and healed it up. "Nobody's hurt but I bet the cops will hear about this." he said meaningfully.
What a headache, thought Anna. She just nodded. They would think of something to tell the cops, provided they didn't come around during the day. As Tiny walked away, Anna turned a beset upon expression to Jane. "And that is what happens...."
"Now as for schedule, if you still want to work here that is... Mondays and Wednesdays from 9pm until 3 am and Fridays 7:30 pm until 5 am. How does that sound?" Anna asked.

Re: Elysium
Everyone it seemed had all met up. They were now all standing in front of a painting that Keira had been admiring not long before. Ayann had apologized for her lack of speech the other night at his great grandchilds club. It was Archon that spoke up first.
"Yes this is a change of scenery to be sure. Certainly beats the board room does it not?" Archon asked looking at Mirella and Keira. He then looked at Ayann. "By the way my childe, I entrust that your move to my manner has been smooth? I would hate for there to be any complications that was not foreseen. Also I am sure you have already but feel free and pick any room of your choosing, they are all light tight." Archon said with a smile
Then it was Ambrogio he spoke next. "Well only the best can house my works you see, and only the best are able to view them, but the very best are able to feel them. And thank you. I take pride in all my work young one." He raised his arms and his blood dolls went elsewhere. "Perhaps one of my greatest works I made oooh...it is the year 2012, which would have been over two thousand years ago. I Painted it for Augustus Caesar. In honor of his late father. Alas it was lost when Rome burned." Ambrogio shook his head as if it happened yesterday.

Re: Elysium
Keira shook her head sympathetically to Ambrogio's story of yet another ruined piece of art but her thoughts were elsewhere. It was still hard for her to fathom two hundred years of life, yet alone two thousand or more. Hell, she'd only been Kindred for two decades herself! How different would the world be two centuries or two millenia from now? Would she herself be still alive, for lack of a better term, in the year 4012? Thinking of a year like that seemed almost comical. Would the human race even be still alive? She assumed that the perception of time changed but she herself, only what now... 54 years old? had still lived too short a time to really grasp what eternity meant. She herself was not even but an infant when compared to ones such as Mirella or Ambrogio.. or even her dear Cyrus..
She shook herself out of her little reverie. "Mr. Vittorino," she began, not sure how one would formally address such a being as Ambrogio was. "All your work here is simply fascinating, as I'm sure your lost works were as well but this one," she said, indicating the one behind her, "it does in fact speak to me moreso than the others. Whom do I need to speak to about purchasing it?" She assumed that he had someone at the gallery who dealt with the financials.
She had seen the price tag on it but knew she could afford it; the money she had managed to keep from her own mortal life which was now well invested as well as what she made from both the club, and the bands that she helped to produce all allowed her a lofty allowance for her own indulgences.

Re: Elysium
Aynn couldn't help but smile at Archon's insistence. Turning her head to him, she nodded slowly and thoughtfully before responding, "Yes, the move is going quite well actually! I got some movers to bring my stuff over, and let your staff know ahead of time so that I wouldn't have anyone get in the way. Stuff like that gets a little bothersome now, I'm sure you understand!" She laughed quietly, and turned to Ambrogio as he spoke. It was amazing how long he had been around, and she couldn't even imagine it herself. She was but a fly on the wall when it came to someone of his standards. Aynn couldn't believe she was even in the presence of someone such at this.
Looking around at the different paintings, she couldn't help but feel a little bit of admiration that people had the money to purchase such works. They were all so awe-inspiring, and some more striking then others. She wandered a little, looking at the different paintings that were around, before returning to the group. "I certainly agree with Keira, they're all just......amazing."

Archon looked at Aynn. "Good. Only the best for you my dear. You are after all my adoptive Childe. Have you had time to go over any of the books I lent you?" Archon asked with a casual smile. When he was not having to act in his official capacity, Archon was rather lovely company.
Ambrogio then looked at them and then to Aynn. "Well I thank you childe. Truly. Every work I make a give a little bit of myself." He flamboyantly laughed waving his hand all limp wristed "Then again I know many men and woman that can say I left a little bit of myself with them as well ha ha ha ha. Oh and to answer your question my little Keira, you can talk to any of the staff or myself. If any of you like something but lack the funds, please ask Archon, he would be more than happy to purchase what ever you would like." Said Ambrogio, offering Archons money.
Archon looked at Ambrogio and looked as if he was about to protest but then a stern look from Ambrogio cut any would be protesting off. "I...yes...yes of course. If you see something, please by all means, I would love to have it decorate your havens or bedrooms." Archon said genuinely but with out much mirth and reached into his pocket and withdrew a check book
