Meeting of the Coup: Part 2

Aynn thought about the Traditions that Archon spoke of, and of the politics that went into upholding them. She remembered how Spencer had told her of the basics, just enough to get her by, teaching her various disciplines and whatnot before telling her that he was leaving for good. It made her sad, but it's nothing that she would be able to dwell on anymore.

"I'm of the clan Ravnos. My sire....he.....embraced me. Taught me what I needed to know to stay safe, hidden, and what to do if I ever encountered you guys, and left just a couple of years after embracing me. I've only been this way for.....4 or 5 years or so? I forget, time just kind of seems to fly by....."

She thought about what else Spencer had taught her, and continued, "he had told me about the masquerade, and some of the traditions that the Camarilla uphold. Also, what evil you guys can do when taunted, as well. It's scary, that's for sure, but I always knew that if I walked my own path, I wouldn't have any issues. Also about the Sabbat, and to assume everyone is Sabbat until proven otherwise. I've never killed anyone, like I said, this is the first time I'm running into you guys, but I'll be damned if this all isn't overwhelming."

"Your just a Neonate then, you still need guidance, instruction. I shall tell you what, I have had a thorough instruction and I am over two hundred years old, think of all that experience I have. If you shall let me child, I would love to adopt you as my childe, I would be your...step Sire. I want to make sure that you are properly equipped to handle this new and oft frightening world.

Knowledge my dear is one of the most under used powers in the world. And it is a shame, because knowledge truly is power. And when was has it they can handle anything. I do hope that you shall take me up on my offer. I am stern when I need to be but quite fair. You shan't want for blood either. However it is getting early, I have a room prepared for you as you would never make it home before getting a fatal tan. Would you be my guest?"Archon asked of the young woman sitting near him at the table

Aynn was concerned. It was a great and glorious offer, that most likely came with station when she was no longer just a childer, but what did it also come with? "I'm.....not....sure......I know I have the looks to kill, and my powers can develop far beyond what they are now, but I'm worried about what comes with being a part of all of this......." She looked around the room where the others had sat just a short while ago; he had mentioned a Primogen, a Prince, a Sheriff, Shennishal, so many political positions that cause things to just get.....convoluted...."I'm getting hung up on all of the working gears. I've been a nurse for a long time, and that political structure is just as messy, and doesn't involve creatures of the night. I want to take your offer, Archon, but I'm not sure about all this....."

She hadn't noticed, but her hands were picking at the cuticles on her nails. Since she had been embraced, she noticed that she just wasn't able to pull the skin anymore, something that she hoped would carry over to her un-life, but it doesn't seem the case. She just didn't know what to think about all of this, but knew that she had to do something, she couldn't stay indecisive. "What would all of this training entail? I'm sure we don't share common lineage as far as our powers go?"

"All that it would entail my dear, is time, patience and study. I am offering you the chance to make something of your eternity. As for the big social mess, understanding of that will come in time my dear. All will be explained if you let me, I wont have you do anything against your will. I want this to be your choice of course as to what you do. I have simply made you an offer, it is up to you take it and run"Archon said giving the young woman a warm smile.

Aynn took a deep breath, wholly unneccisary, as her body didn't really need the increased oxygen, and she let it out slowly, attempting to clear her mind. Mulling it over, she turned to face Archon, and nodded. "I'm ready, I'll do it. It's going to be hard for me to accept, but I'm going to do it."

"I humbly accept the position of Primogen of the independant clan Travius, once I have my chantry in order we will be eager to be of service to our prince." He said lowering his head. He stepped out behind the prince as he addressed everyone, then followed a waiting ghoul to a provided room. Laying his head down, he closed his eyes. The faces of all his childers passed through his head, but most of all the two he hand bonded himself to. "I'm coming" He said as he passed out.

"Then my dear, you can call me either Prince Hamilton, Sire, or when in private, Archon. Your tutelage begins now."Archon smiled her a reassuring smile "Your new life is now to begin, but do not fear, you seem a clever girl, and being clever can take you farther than you know. I have never Embraced a childe of my own, so I am eager to see how this will play out, who knows, maybe I shall indeed teach you everything you need to know and perhaps one day, a few hundred years from now, you shall be my successor. Only time will tell."Archon then leaned over and pressed something on his chair.

"Mr.Turner, I need you to cancel my seven o' clock, my nine thirty, and my eleven o 'clock meeting this morning, I wont be able to attend them as I shall be recouping from certain stresses earlier this evening. Give them all my apologies and send them all season tickets to whatever sporting evens they may enjoy."Archon said and could not help thinking of moose hunting, ice fishing, and skating here. There was just so much...snow and everything else.

"I hope that your day is a restful one and I shall see this evening. Mr.Malneax shall see you to your room my dear, if there is anything you need, please take full advantage of my staff, but do not feed from them, they are not for eating."Archon smiled and then slowly got up and made his way out and to the waiting Mirella in his bedroom as his servant came to assist Aynn. Its been one bloody hell of a night.
