Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
Harvey's last opponent laughed as the Assamites bone weapon bounced ineffectively off his jacket as he backed off a bit, ignoring but still slowed down by his wounds. His nails grew into wicked looking talons with which he swiped at Harvey with the claws and then bit as well in a last ditch attempt.
The Gangrel's first strike with his claws brought him in close to Harvey but his wounds threw off his aim and the enemy's claws hit himself, gouging deeply into his own flesh. The Cainite howled in pain, but didn't let it stop him in his clumsy attempt to sink his teeth into Harvey.

(Thanks for the info)
Harvey hurried to avoid the fangs of the savage Cainite
Harvey barely moved out of the way in time but now that he had the Cainites back he ran forward and stabbed violently with his right blade.

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
There were screams in the background as the enemy Cainites that Nico and Desanic held in the grips of twisting shadows were pulled apart limb from limb until they met their Final Death. She vaguely wished she could inflict that kind of carnage so easily but she wouldn't have ever wanted to give up the powers she currently had. It was just too much fun to manipulate others. Without what she knew to do, she'd never have been able to make Brutus her pet. He was the equivalent of their shadows to her, she thought, as she watched him tear one of the last few enemies apart himself. He was covered in blood, making his bone plates shine in the dim streetlights. Oh yes, she would have to reward him for this later. Elisabeth had taught her that rewards should only be given out rarely but Jenn decided this would be one of those occasions for her pet. He had proven he was watching her back and that he was a good and strong fighter for the pack, even if he was not an actual member of it.
She turned to see Harvey dealing his final blows at his opponent. She saw the blade he had had created in his arm go clean through his foe, right through the gut. She winced at how painful that looked but then reminded herself she'd had just as bad if not worse... like the one time she'd taken a high calibre sniper rifle shot to the shoulder. Yeah, now that had HURT. As Harvey pulled back though, the combined damaged suffered by the other Cainite was apparent as the man fell, barely rolling onto his back but did not really move much. Jenn could see the Cainite was still conscious but unable to act anymore.
( Nice one. I took off 3 more blood points cause Harvey hit 3 more times. Your opponent is completely incapacitated now. Do 2 more levels of aggravated damage [bite, claw, baal's caress etc..] to kill him or.. well.. you can decide on other things to do to him like taking him prisoner to torture or whatever. Have to warn you though, your blood pool is on the low side now. For Harvey, anything at 4 or less blood he runs the risk of frenzy near blood. Keep that in mind if you choose to use baal's caress again. )

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
(To clarify, I hit him three times and I just wasn't drained the blood until now right? I'm going to drink his blood, not full Diablerie just to finish him and replenish my blood)
Harvey retracted his blade out of his enemies chest and watched as he stumbled and fell. He smiled wickedly as he approached him, this fight had drained him so he put his knee in his enemies back and grabbed his hair. He pulled the Gangrels head up and sank his teeth in, drinking deeply from his veins but as he reached the last drops he stopped. He had no wish to devour this Cainites soul and weaken himself.

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
As the fighting had pretty much finished, Jenn turned her attention to watch Harvey. He had promised that he wouldn't turn on them but he seemed.. hungry as he went for the neck of his fallen foe. Despite his promises, she still didn't trust Assamites, not after Sipho. She kept her daggers handy as she walked over to him, keeping Brutus with her just in case. She had done the same as Harvey to Rhiann but with her it had been different; it had been mostly to make sure that that b*** was dead for good. It required more than just Jenn's daggers to finish the other Cainite off but in Harvey as he raised up, she could see something else in his face : the lust for Cainite blood. She caught his gaze with suspicious eyes. What he did next would go a long way to proving or disproving his words to her. "You still look kind of hungry there." she called to him.
She took the risk of looking away for a moment, glancing around at everybody else. It seemed that the rest of the pack was all standing, only a few with minor injuries. Samuel's pack though, they really hadn't fared well. There were a handful of bodies lying on the cold asphalt, Cainites young enough that their remains hadn't rotten to dust upon their Final Death. She looked back to Harvey, waiting for his next action.
( You'd probably only get about 1 blood point from your opponent there as he had like no health levels left. Probably doubtful you'd get much from any other bodies either. You'll have to find someone else to feed on. )

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
I walked over to the soulless corpse left behind in the start of the fight. He pick him up and sank his dangs into this one as well, repeating the same process, but he felt much more alive this time. He dropped the corpse after he was done and walked away from it, he turned his gaze to Jenn and smiled at her, it would do good if she still suspected him, in suspicion there was always fear. He didn't care for the power games that Jenn intended to play, his goal was to see if he could become part of the Black Hand, he had the skills to infiltrate any city and assassinate the most powerful of elders, he just had to prove himself. He might even help Jenn gain more power if it meant proving his worth in a grand way that no one could ignore. As it was though he walked back toward her and said "Nice job, these weaklings didn't stand a chance, but they are shy one Nosferatu."

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
Jenn looked around, realizing there was indeed one missing from the massacre. The other pack's leader. "You're right.." she said, looking over at Elisabeth who caught her eye. Jenn turned back to Harvey. "We're going to have to go down there and scout out the place." she added, indicating the subway tunnels. It was an iffy proposition, seeing as how the tunnels would be perfect death traps but they would have to check it out. "What are the chances they have booby traps laying in wait? All of them that we know of are up here dead save Samuel but he could have an army of shovelheads with him for all we know... though it would have made more sense to send THEM up here to be slaughtered while keeping his packmates down there for ambush..." she thought out loud. She nodded at Harvey. "You're good at sneaking, right? How about you lead point and go and check out the place? See if it's safe down there for us...." she suggested. She half smiled. "Don't worry, this isn't a set-up, Harv. I'll be sneaking down there too... though I only have the old fashioned techniques...."

Harvey smiled at her "Of course I would go first, Samuel would kill you." He walked towards the subway entrance but before walking down he crouched down and began walking silently to the entrance, he opened the door and checked for any traps he could initially see.

Re: Sabbat : Pre-story
Jenn scowled at the Assamite. "He could try. Rhiann tried more than once and look what it got her." she retorted, indicating traces of the other Cainite's blood that still resided on her own chin. She liked at the blood, savouring the taste; the actual blood was amazing tasting but it was the victory that was so much more delicious. She chuckled at the thought. She would have diablerized the other one if she had thought it would have gained her anything. As it was, Rhiann had proven that she had inferior skills and probably inferior blood. "Just let him try and I can show him what death looks like..." she muttered quietly as Harvey began making his way down the stairs. She replaced one of her daggers in its sheath before crouching and following the Assamite downwards to keep one hand free. She glanced at Elisabeth just before she disappeared from sight, pausing just long enough to catch the nod from her Ductus and Sire that she was doing the right thing. One day she wouldn't seek that kind of acknowledgement, one day when she was a leader herself but for now, she knew what would happen if she didn't
When they got down to the lower level of the station, smoked filled the underground tunnels. Jenn was only glad she didn't need to breathe anymore. This much smoke would probably overcome a normal human after not too long. Visibility wasn't great but they could see at least fifteen to twenty feet most of the time. Might be harder to spot traps or ambushes though. She moved slowly, being careful and sticking as close to the walls and dark areas as possible.
She looked around as best she could through the black smoke and the dark tunnels, there was only basic emergency lighting going, but couldn't see anyone. She caught up to Harvey and leaned in close to whisper. "I haven't seen anyone or any traps." she said quietly. "But the smoke is coming from over that way..." she pointed.

Harvey nodded and crouched to the opposite wall and continued towards the source of the smoke.
