Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Lachlan spent a will power to form a complete sentence in human tongue. Lachlan Macleod,Ahroun, Fenrir." He said the words coming out even in Crinos form with a thick of feral Scottish brogue. He stood staring down at the others and wondered if pleasantries were over or not seeing as how every second they wasted with talk, the Wrym taint here would grow stronger and their enemy was growing closer.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Aoife let out a small growl to remind them something was nearby and to be ready for it. Her green eyes scanned the brush and forest for any sign of movement. She was unsettled by the feelings around them, the conspicuous timing of this new Garou and the thing that was heading in their direction. She did not like it one bit she thought as she felt the fur on her back, neck and head begin to bristle getting ready for the coming fight.
She howled in rage at the thing coming, at what it had done to the spirits here and her anxiousness to begin the fight and tear up that which brought wrongness to the land. A howl she hopped would stir the fellow Garou who now stood beside her.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Kaelyn seemed to calm down, shifting back to her more awkward Homid form (*Spend 1 Rage*) to greet the newcomer. "Hail, traveler. I am Kaelyn, Garou from zhe east. Luvine born Silverfang Vhilodox Cliath. I zee you as I zee my friends. Zhere is a great evil here...." she swept a hand out around the scenery, pointing to the waste that once was a verdant grove surrounding them, "zhe Wyrm is strong, and as I'm sure you've heard, someone intends to make us zheir lunch."
She turned heel, walking over to the poisoned well, the heavy sound of padding feet growing closer, shaking the dead branches of what used to be strong, majestic fauna, and crouched down. "Aiofie, I azk for your assistance. I may not be of zhe fighting type, I shall leave zhat to Lachlsan. I'm going to try and purify zhis ground, will you assist me with zuch a feat?" Kaelyn knelt fully onto the ground, "Zhoin in with me, howl to Gaia, and donate your Gnosis to the Earth." shifting her vocal cords to a lupine form (*Spend 1 rage*) and beginning the rite of purification with a loud, wailing howl (*Spend 1 gnosis to begin Rite of Purification on the reflecting pool and small land area around it*)
=========================================
The black spiral dancer quickly arrived to the site of the group of Garou's presence. He made a grand entrance, jumping through the brush, towering over even Lachlan with his monstrous size. He caught sight of the group, roaring the sickening howl that the 4 had heard not moments before, and lowered his head. He knew exactly what he had to do, and he was going to go for the largest one first. Scraping his large claw against the ground, he ran at Lachlan, attempting to gore him with the large, slick, green and black appendages that were not too distant from the antlers of a large stag deer.
It took only 2 strides from the large 12ft Crinos beast to reach Lachlan. The horns lowered, he attempted to rip the large Crinos in twain.
Though the large beast had been running full speed, the Wyld that had not been removed in the area allowed a branch to grow from the ground, wrapping around the Black Spiral Dancers leg, and running up his body, pinning him to the ground, and halting his advance at all costs. He lay there, slashing and roaring at the vine as it bound him to the ground.
He finally got the branch freed, and stood up, only to find that his initiative had been completely lost.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Then it appeared. The Dancer with all its tainted glory. It had horns, or antlers, either way it was a common defect in the inbred of Garou society. Lachlan would be doing this creature a favor throating it here and now. Lachlan stood to his full height and outstretched his arms and let out a menacing howl and charged the creature swiping at it with his razor sharp claws.
Taking his arm and swinging with all his might, his claws embedded themselves into the Dancer from throat to crotch. Lachlan's arm came down and out and cut the Dancer as if he were made of butter.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
The large alpha of the Black Spiral Dancer pack was wholly unaware of the lumbering wolf that quickly approached him. Snarling, the midnight black wolf raised his arms, attempting to block the oncoming onslaught of razor sharp death.
Gnaws through Wyld roared as the large razor sharp talons of the attacker ripped through his Wyrm tainted hide. His blood spilled around the group, but it seemed like the attack was mostly shrugged off for the time being.
He recoiled, there had been a noticeable shift in the Garou's visage, he was hurting, and bad. The pain was nearly unbearable, and by focusing himself, he was able to concentrate once more. (*Spending 1 rage to activate Resist Pain*) Gnaws Through Wyld took a large stride back, letting out a loud howl, it screeched louder then anything the group had ever heard before; before anyone could react, however, a gout of bright green flame shot from the wolf's mouth, scorching Lachlan and Ronan both, arching the flame in front of him in a 180 degree arc.
The wolf was bleeding, badly. The act of breathing fire had been what he hoped enough to extinguish the brood from this earth. The ground around him was beginning to grow green, angering him even more as he flailed about, the flame dancing around the group, failing to ignite the ground or forest around them.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Aoife had reluctantly followed the other female, wanting only to stand and fight but knowing that she might better serve from afar at this moment. Besides this Kaelyn had command in her voice and stance and so she followed the now human shaped wolf, Aoife still in her crinos war form towering over the smaller figure. As they made their way to the waters nearby, Aoife kept her ears plastered flat against her head and kept glancing back over her shoulder at the two males.
( OOC : Not sure what happens if I spend all my gnosis if anything... But I'm under the assumption that I can just gain it back after? In any case, to get any more would require more time than we have in the scene. )
(Spends 1 gnosis)
As Kaelyn began a howl, Aoife joined in, adding her own haunting tone to the mix, calling out to Gaia. Her call was slightly unlike Kaelyn's or Lachlan's, it was the eerie tone of the Fianna which echoed through the Umbra. She could hear chaos erupting behind her but kept the howl to the Mother of All.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Lachlan howled in frustration when the Dancer did not fall before his might. The damn thing would fall or Lachlan would fall trying to defeat it. For the glory of the Fenrir Tribe and for the protection of Gaia. The Black Spiral Dancer issued forth from its maw a green flame. Lachlan tumbled forward, behind the creature and stood up once more.
Lachlan once again brought his savage, razor sharp claws down on the BSD. There was a look of pure fury in Lachlans eyes. He was on the cusp of glory and it would be his!
Once more Lachlan brought his claws towards the Dancers throat, if only to shut that piece of shit up, he howled like whore in mating season!

=================
The Battle
=================
Gnaws Through Wyld attempted to block the attack, instead of raising his arms up across his body, he decided to spin as Lachlan moved, trying to trap the large beast in a battle of close combat wits. Lachlan was there with lightning speed however, as the claws raked upon his face, causing this snout of the Crinos Metis to rip completely from his skull. The body fell to the ground, the body releasing it's last exhale of breath. The area around Lachlan and Ronan grew cold as from the dead Dancer's body exhumed a misty green dragon. It continued to release itself from the Alpha's body until it stood 6 or 7 feet. It roared a silent cry of anguish before exterminating completely from the world.
=================
The Ritual
=================
Kaelyn and Aoife had begun the ritual, and almost instantly the purity of their spirits were beginning to drive the Wyrmtaint from the fetid field. The grass was returning to it's blueish hue, the trees were slowly restructuring themselves as the spirits came back to life. It was almost as if a molding blanket had been lifted from the lush landscape around them. Most importantly, however, was the water that the two sat in front of turning back to it's normal clear/blue color, no longer poisoned by the Wyrm's touch.
The spirits were slowly being attacted to this place; seeing the young pup's plight; the Galliard no longer being able to return to the Tellarian if required to do to, they began to channel their energy to the young one, filling her with the spirit energy needed to continue with the rite without need for fear. (*Gain 1 Gnosis*)
Kaelyn broke her howl for a brief moment to yell to the others. "Ahhh, donate your zpirit and help wizh zhe ritual, howl to Gaia, save zhis grove!" She instantly resumed the howl, donating another point of gnosis to the ritual to expand the area of effect of the purification.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Lachlan let out a mighty Howl of Victory that could be heard from a good distance. He made his way near Kaelyn and Aoife just in time for her to ask for him and the other were with them to help donate there mystical Gnosis.
Lachlan went ahead and gave all his Gnosis in one go. Looking down at the other two. He would have joined them in this Howl but he knew nothing of the rites and rituals. Not many Fenrir did. Only the ones to old for combat but was still useful to the sept as a whole. Granted those Fenrir where rare as most chose to die as warriors, in combat.

Re: Prologue: A Spirit's Dying Wish
Aoife continued to howl, eyes closed, entreating Gaia's help to restore this land. She could feel her own depleted energy being returned to her. She would have to thank Kaelyn for that after this work was complete. She allowed herself to peek open one eye, glancing around. She was amazed at the changes she saw occurring, the colours were seeping back into the world around them and it felt as if life was returning. It was a beautiful thing to see and feel.
