Universal Thaum System
Roll: Willpower (difficulty 7) - steps can be taken to lower the difficulty, and some situations can increase the difficulty.
Cost: Always 1pt of blood per level.

Path of Alchemy


1) Plant stone : not a permanent stone, waxy substance thats like a highly concentrated extract, a small piece dissolved into water is supposed to make that water like a full bottle of extract. obviously, the use of blood will be added in the how-to steps...lol

2) True Plant stone
This is a solidified, fully processed of the above version to be made into a permanent thing (this is based on a real plant stone, and its operations, the only thing being added to this point is our blood) Its said when you hang a plant stone in purified water with herb in it, any her, a oily substance will collect on top of the water, collected, thats said to be the plants quintessence, literally its life force, and supposed to be the purest medicine you can get from a plant.

3) Crystallizing quintessence
Learn to crystallize it, which will be used in later operations.

4) Creating a Seed
where they use alchemically broken down plant matter and their blood to create a plant with thorns, and nothing else. Not entirely useful, save for it can be used to grow a wall of thorned briers, about a enough to seal a door.

5) The blood plant
A vined plant that will grow as the user wishes it to. If they want it to be a sunlight tight shelter, its made, if they want it to be a wall of briers, made, if they want it to tie someone down with brier vines, etc.

Path of Defence

Description : Combination of Celerity, Fortitude and Potence, each level is accumulated.


1) Double Time - The Travian gains an extra movement per turn.

2) Hold Your Ground - With that movement comes a soak dice.

3) Demigods Strength - With the above comes an automatic success to Str rolls.

Every level after the third is chosen by the Travian, allowing them to specialize on one of those gifts, or to continue building on all three.

Path of Magnetism

Description : The path to control focused magnetic fields. Note, like real magnetic fields, they have an extremely limited range of strength.


1) Loadstone - At this base level, the Travian learns to attract small objects like small nails and iron filings directly to her hand.

2) True Pull - At this level, the Travian is still attracting directly to her hand, but the field is stronger and can attract things the size of a knife.

3) Pushing out - Finally the Travian pushes the point of attraction away from herself, therefore increasing her range of effect on objects

4) Magnes Venerated - The Travian learns to move that point at will, allowing her to lift knives across the room, and guide it where she wills at the speed of throwing
5) Vulcans Flight - The Travian strenthens their field allowing her to lift objects weighing 1.5 times her weight. They could then, for instance, take a metal disk less then half their own wait and use it to fly, depending on the size of the disk, however, with speed involved, balancing does become an issue.
6) Second Grasp - The Travian develops mastery enough to create a second point of magnetism, though the second is directly to their hands.
7) Vulcan Reborn - The second point can now be moved at will and hold objects as heavy as a pistol or sword.

Path of Records

Description : Pioneered by Elizabeth Harris to protect the home Chantries research, it has been instrumental in the Travian Security Infrastucture.


1) Blood Ink - The first art she mastered was writing with an ink made with her blood, and then getting the blood to rearrange itself to her will. At this level a letter can re arrange itself to another letter. The key to its success is in the creation of blood ink, which not only must be more concentrated in blood at each level, but the user of ink must also have the necessary skill level in the art. Blood Ink obeys its creator and master, and thusly can only be used by those who the creator gives approval, which must be spoken into the ink.
2) Trigger - At this level a programmed response to trigger change when viewed or exposed to light, only arranging themselves in proper order at the command of its master.
3) Fall in Line - At this level, Elizabeth was able to command her ink into mimicking completely false infomration until commanded to correct itself by its master.
4) Words will never hurt me - At this level, without sensing the will of its master, being exposed to sunlight will cause the ink to jump off the page and attack. At this volatile stage they self destruct, the practical effect is a burning sensation that leaves aggravated damage in assorted marks on the victim. While not likely deadly to a kindred, if they were looking at the page they may have to wait for their eyes to heal back to see anything.
5) The Pen is mightier... - At this level, the ink from the page doesn't just jump off and go into self destruct mode, every bit of ink in the included document jump out. Water baloon with hydorchoric acid like effect.

Path of Technology

Description : Pioneered by Stephanie, it exist as a base point. Up till now, technology had widely been ignored by the kindred world, thus if they could get a jump start on it now, that would give them yet one more advantage they would need in the battles and trials to come. Each step uses a sigil to mark the device being effected, once mastered the Travian simply places their hand over the object and spends their blood, and it arranges itself in the proper symbols.

1) Sensing flow - At this level its about feeling out the streams of energy in a system. It started with a computer, but any electronic system would be as effective.
2) No more resistance - the Travian can now burn out circuity, be it a computer or roomba with a touch and a little focus...
3) Wireless interface - the Travian can with focus, control the typing and mouse inputs. (while not necessary, for ease of training and focus, normally this will consist of 'air typing and mouse hanlding')
4) Direct Interface - the Travians control over the system are such that they can directly execute commands and edit files, totally bypassing focusing on the keyboard or mouse inputs.
5) Play Time - the Travian can control a virual avatar, even pushing their conciousness into it to experience a virtual world as a real one.

Fallowing go with Lure of flames for a Golem path, which is less of a path then it is a joint ritual that no one kindred can perform...

Path of Water

Description: When weaponized, it lacks bang. It replaces this with nightmare-inducing horror. The practioner mixes their blood with a measure of water, 1 drop per gallon, that water once prepared can be used to "corrupt" 10 times its mass in water to the users control. (note 1pt/gal is accumaltive, ie level 5 - 5pts/gal)

1) Come Together - the first step allows the user to sprinkle the water all over a table, and bring it together into a single puddle.

2) Natural Cycles - The Travian can evaporate the water, and direct into a direction before falling back down

3) Training a puddle - This is where things get horrifying. The Travian can now train his puddle with reactions, including teaching it to attack. (it does this by crawling up victem, and invading all cavaties, for those that can drown, this is death) Upon activation it has 5 minutes before the blood in it is used up and the water returns to its normal state.

4) Getting Acidic - The Travian can now adjust the acidity of the water to dangerous levels, creating a new compound all together. This to can be trained into reactions.

5) Mans Best Friend - The puddle can now be trained like to a service dog level, using all the skills it has learned to this point at its disposale. However, this one comes with upkeep, depending on how active it is, at minimum it takes a bp each night to keep, at most 5pts, but as long as it is kept, it continues learning, and can even mimic behaviors or a 'pet'

Path of Air

Description: A path of air flow and pressure, its the control of air pressure that allowed it to be weaponized.

1) Light Influence - the first step allows the user to mist blood into the air, and change the path of its currents. Ie, If a window and a door are open, and besides for that direct flow of air, the rest of the rooms air isn't being included, they could direct it to encompass the entire room to clear the air in a near instant.

2) Gentle Push - Abandoning the idea of being able to always direct huge currents to your will, the idea of taking a small portion of air to manipulate took hold. This compresses the air enough to push light objects.

3) Focused push - The pressure bubble created from this could caue a human to break a rib against a wall if they were too close.

4) Dust devil - Through air pressure control, the Travian can create small tornadoes (f0).
