Taking the offered meat and cheese, she watches the two women listen to them talk and tell their stories. She wraps up the extra cheese and meat tucking it away in her bag. Her eyes shifting from one to the other as firelight glinted off of them. She finally came to a decision as the last lady finished her story.

Taking a breath she started speaking softly. “this one is known simply as Simi. Whether nickname or true name I know not. My mother was taken by bandit while she was teaching me to steal and that was all she called me.” She blinked a little fast to avoid the emotion she knew could drown her in a heartbeat. “This one is wanted by the one known as maven for stealing some gems from her on a dare. This one is unaware if there is power to the gems or if it is her vanity that has made her put such a price on this one.” She pulls out the nicer pouch housing the gems and holds them out the to necromancer. She spent many days looking at the sapphires and ruby. Those gems kept her moving and alone. “Maybe you can tell this one what is worth killing for.”

She looks down again. “This one has no power only cunning and skills. Perhaps if there was power, this one could’ve protected my mother all those years back.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath it was more than she had told anyone. She lived a life of shadows as a shadow and knew that caring could only cause more trouble in the end. She would have to leave these woman quickly before more harm could befall them. There was already the fear that those bandits might have really been meant for her.

She glanced back up from one woman to the other. She could only hope that one night wouldn’t cause them too much trouble.

Liliana's lilac eyes stared back at the Nord woman for a long moment, mulling over something about the statement of not being persecuted for necromancy here, but the what was indecipherable. There was an air of cynicism though about her now. "If only that was my only concern..." she whispered half to herself. She caught herself then, waving what she had said away, and giving a small hint of a smile. "It is good to know that I will not be punished for this one school of magick. Thank you." she said sincerely. "I still seek a means to make a more.. permanent undead servant so the likelihood of me taking one into a town is.. negligible, but it is good to know that I wouldn't be unduly arrested and punished... for that." she added.

She arched an eyebrow to hear the Nord admit that they were similar. It seemed she was starting to indeed get through to these women, there was some progress being made. She was about to explain that she felt duty-bound to try to help but stopped as the Nord woman continued on, explaining about a shrine of some sort. She held little confidence that such an open monument would hold anything revolutionary for her in regards to necromancy but perhaps there might be others drawn there who could enlighten her in some arcane areas. Still, it was a long shot. She nodded slightly. "Perhaps I will pass by it at some point." she answered. The suggestions for either the College of Winterhold and for approaching court wizards, though she wondered how anything could pass for a court in this land, was.. asking for a bit more notice than she cared to draw for the moment. After all, it would take only one well timed spell to oust her....

Suddenly, the Khajiit spoke up now, drawing Lili's attention. She smiled genuinely at having that one finally admit her name. "Simi. It is nice to formally make your acquaintance." she replied. "Does it matter whether it is a nickname or a true name? If that is your only name, then that is your true name, yes? I am sorry to hear about your mother." she added, clearly seeing the Khajiiti woman's emotion about it. She assumed that what Simi meant by her mother being taking by bandits was that her mother had not survived. While Lili's family was alive and well, as far as she knew, back home.. they were as good as dead to her, sealed away in an impenetrable land.

A thought drew upon her at that though. Lili was wanted under penalty of death back home.. but others, like these two, weren't. Perhaps, one day, she could find someone to go to Wayrest and check on everyone for her. She.. she couldn't show her own face there, not only for what she had been accused of but also because of what she had become... but if she could send someone else, one who could even just look from afar and bring her back word.... She had to gain someone's trust first though, whether it could be these two or perhaps someone else, time would tell.

She arched her eyebrow again as she focused once more on Simi. "Stealing gems from Maven herself? My, my... A brash act." she began but was more shocked when Simi pulled out said gems as well. "Wanted but you did managed to get away with the treasure?" She gave a light, lilting laugh of genuine amusement. "That woman deserves to have everything stolen out from under her..... before her world comes crashing down around her. That might.. be an interesting approach. Simply doing away with her might be rather difficult but.. rob her blind, discredit her.... now that would be what she deserves. As for these gems..." she said, reaching out for the proffered gems. "It would not surprise me if it was simply vanity for a bounty on you. She DID try to have me done away with for simply offending her in public..." she trailed off as she began to inspect the gems.

She ran through the handful of sapphires and rubies in astonishment. There was a king's ransom of gems here. There was something else, she noticed on a close examination. "These gems have been pried out of some sort of settings..." she explained, showing the light scratches or discolorations at the edges. She glanced up with a curious look. "Perhaps SHE stole these from something else.... or had them stolen anyways... She obviously wanted them and you took them." she said finally with a chuckle. "But no, no I don't believe any of these contain powers...." She took the biggest sapphire then, handing the rest back. Holding the one gem tight, Liliana, closed her eyes as she concentrated, waving her other hand over it. After a moment, she handed the final gem, now with a slight glow to it, back to Simi. "There, this gem now carries an enchantment for you. Using it will grant you the ability to move without a sound for a brief time, perhaps ten or twenty seconds... and the charge will run out of course, but... perhaps you can find use in it." she explained.

She sat back in her chair as she watched the others eat. Perhaps in the end, she wouldn't be able to keep these two, or any true companions around. Perhaps this land did not persecute necromancy, and neither did these two women but.. there were other things that everyone persecuted, at times unjustly. She highly doubted that if these two were to learn the truth about her, that they would stay long enough to give her a fair chance. She would stay and try to assist them, of course, but... she steeled herself against the inevitable failure in gaining... friends. What had happened in Cyrodiil had made that impossible. She dearly missed having friends, having anyone she could confide in.... But that was impossible now and she needed to protect herself from getting too close.

( Do we want to continue? Skip the night? Throw in another situation popping up? )

Saga listened to the two women talk. It was clear that Liliana was a mage so her grand quest of knowledge was rather to be expected. Just that as far as she was aware most mages didn't just randomly travel by themselves, very few did so at least in Skyrim. Well it didn't really matter in the long run since well there were few mages in Skyrim anyways! So she supposed in other parts of the continent where there were generally more magic users it would be common to see them traveling. She made a face of compassion when she heard the khajiit woman's past and what happened to her family. Somehow it seemed Talos had pulled them together as they were in a similar situations to some degrees.

Her eyebrows raised at the revelation the khajiit had stolen from Maven." Amazing, few people actually would dare to attempt and even fewer would actually succeed in taking anything from her." Saga stated, clearly impressed with it." The mere act of stealing from her is enough for her to send thugs after you. In matter of fact..." She stopped for a moment, worried if she should mention the possibility, but decided it was better to not scare them too much right away and besides chances were Maven wouldn't go that far right away. It was just a simple theft for the moment." It's likely she will set a bounty on your head for mercenaries and thugs, so you should be really careful. Maybe attempt to do an image change if you plan to hang around the rift for much longer. Different clothing and potentionally color parts of your visible fur different color. I know it's not really usually a thing that your people do, but it would help you hide from the worst of it, but to begin with there aren't that many Khajiit in skyrim to begin with, so ideally you should leave the Rift. Best head for Whiterun or maybe Solitude."

Saga didn't mention the possibility of Maven setting the brotherhood onto the Khajiit or Liliana. For the moment their slights to Maven weren't too severe, but if they stayed around the Rift she might chance her mind eventually. Her ear perked up at the mention of the gems being pried out of stuff. She took a look at them from the side." MMm... don't look like anything too special, at least I haven't heard of any special circlets or crowns or anything that has vanished." She explained. Anyways she now poured 3 cups of the fruit tea and after drinking it, she looked around, noting that it was getting colder in the room. She tossed some firewood into the fire and placed the fur sleeping bags by her guests, also pulling some big fur rolls for them to use if just the bedrolls wouldn't keep them warm enough, which was likely." Spread at least one of these furs under the bedrolls. The stone cold is very chilly otherwise and you can easily feel the chill through the bedroll." She warned them. Maybe for them it wouldn't be the case, but in her personal experience it was like that, but then again she was someone with a weaker constitution and health to begin with, so that meant she was generally very sensitive to cold.

"We better get some rest. It would be best if tomorrow we leave before dawn as to minimalize the chance of anyone spotting us." Saga stated, getting back to her bed and settlign in. Her bow was set by her bedside along with her sword at easy access and she subconsciously put her dagger underneath her pillow, holding it, as she was reading to go to bed. She didn't trust these two at a 100 percent, but she had a decently good feeling about Simi and Lili. As such she planned to try to get at least some sleep tonight, light sleep, but sleep non the less. Still it was obvious that even when sleeping she had her guard up.

Waking early she stuck out to a nearby farm. Grabbing some eggs and potatoes, she grabs a few apples from a tree. Carefully entering the room, she starts making breakfast. Bloiling the eggs and steaming potatoes. She shuffles around checking her bags and backing everything up. She put the glowingstone in a pouch that hung hidden around her neck. Tucking the pouch back in her armor.

She takes a few of the eggs and puts them in her bag leaving some out for the others she sits to wait for them to wake. Today was the day she needed to move on. Make her way to White Run and fence the jewels. There was one shop there that would buy no questions asked. Sitting she poked a stick into the fire looking between the 2 women and waiting to go.

Liliana had heard the Khajiit get up and sneak out in the early morning hours but she chose not to rise as well. The Khajiit's belongings had been left behind so it was clear that Simi was intending to return. Lili herself had not slept during the night but merely rested. The glamour she used on herself took a degree of concentration to keep up and sleep would have allowed it to drop and she hadn't wanted to frighten these other women... or be attacked by them. Eventually she heard Simi return and begin to rustle about. A quick glance past hooded eyelids revealed the Khajiit making some food.

She waited until the smell of cooking food began to permeate the air of the room before she chose to arise, sitting up and pushing off the cover of the bedroll that the Nord woman had lent her. She knew it was perhaps a couple of hours yet till dawn. She made a show of yawning and stretching, looking very out of place on a fur and hide bedroll on the floor. She smiled a greeting at the Khajiit noticing her awake. "Good morning, Simi." she said. "Making breakfast I see?" she added with a raised eyebrow. Lili decided perhaps she would have a bite or two of it when it finished cooking. Food held little interest or use for her but at least it would appear more normal if she did eat something.

When the Nord woman had awoken, Lili also greeted her. "Shadow," she began, using the pseudonym that the Nord woman had given them, "last night you made mention of us leaving here. Where do you propose we go?" she said, wondering. They had not made any plans but at least it seemed that the two other women were going to be comfortable with travelling together. Liliana had thus far been somewhat random in her travels so she was curious if the Nord had a destination in mind.

Seeing that the food was ready now, Liliana accepted one of the boiled eggs from Simi, thanking her. Gingerly, she flaked off the shell and brought the still-hot food item to her lips. After a moment's hesitation, she took a bite of it, feeling the chunk of egg slide down towards her stomach, where it felt like a ball of iron. While she didn't get sick from eating as some did, it still could be an uncomfortable action. She put on a smile though, nodding to Simi and giving her approval of the meal.

Her sleeping in that night was not her usual one. With the additional presences around her she felt both more tense, but also more secure. She was a bit worried, but all in all it proved alright. Nobody did anything dangerous even when she woke once or twice to toss some firewood in the fire before laying back to sleep, the fire had to be maintained. In any case she got a bit of a rest at least, though her arm rarely left the touch of the dagger underneath her pillow. She had silently stirred when the khajiit left the room, but given the bags were behind she decided it was probably alright. Eventually there was a following sound of somebody returning, well this is why she had the room entrance secured the way it was, it was impossible to entre without making noise from the rocks. In any case nobody was hostile so she decided to rest a lil bit more as the other woman also apparently woke up.

"Mmm..." Saga groaned a bit as she rose from her bed, heavy furs slipping of her lithe frame. Rest she did, though it didn't mean much when one had a generally poor health and constitution. She felt a bit faint and weak, some doctors and alchemists in the past had mentioned she was suffering from bloodloss somehow without having bled. Blood replenishing medicine did tend to help, so did having a good breakfast. Still she knew it must be her bad health affecting her as usual with some weird sickness." Good morning." Saga added, sitting on the beed, with a bit of a wobble before straightening herself out with sheer willpower.

"Ahh... ? Ohh yes." She took a moment to recall what was being talked about by the fair mage lady woman Lili. Sorting her thoughts out from the faint haze, Shadow pulled a waterskin and rapidly drank a few good big mouthfuls of the cool water. It wasn't perfect, but the cool liquid going down her dry throat did marvels to wake her up." Sorry, just not a good early morning person somedays." She apologized, she'd be fine in an hour or two after she eats or take a good potion for bloodloss or medicine herbs for it. She needed to restock too." Darkwater Crossing." She replied with a low uncomfortable sound following as she stretched her arms, making her joints do poppoing sounds. She had forgotten to exercise before bed last night.

"It's just a few hours away on foot from here on normal walk. Also the bridge there is the best way to cross the river in the area if you want to be able to directly follow the roads to Whiterun. Also since it's boom in population and visitors after the Dragon Crisis, it's actually a rather popular up and running small town with tourist attractions like the hot springs, nowdays it's more of a tourist stop actually rather than the original mining settlement it started off as." She retold the usual Skyrim lore and sales pitch for the area.

"Thanks, for making breakfast." She told the khajiit girl and also pulled some preserves from the cupboard, namely cheese and again dried meat. Foods that could hold to good state for a long time and put them on the wooden plates so the other could take from it too." Anyways, Whiterun's the best place to go to if you aren't sure what you want to do in Skyrim." Saga looked at Lili." It's the most central hold both politically and geographically, it's the literal center of Skyrim after all and it does wield a lot of influence. Looking for jobs or information there is usually the best bet. Many a traveler pass by it's gates every single day and the court wizard while a bit of a douche at times is actually a nice enough guy." She smiled, already feelign better and not as faint as when she woke up. Some of the blush of health returning to her cheeks. She tossed a look at Lili again." If you are in search of specific magical knowledge, he will be the guy who can point you at the right direction without going to the college. Well he might point you to the college libraries, but you get the idea." She smiled and finished the last bit of what she planned to eat which honestly wasn't too much. She ate little most of hte time. She then hurried to get ready to journey which she did fast. Her travel bags were ready always, so she just had to grab her bow and sword and attach those to their strap holders." Word of advice though, if we happen to stumble upon giants on our way, don't fight them! They are nice guys! For the most part anyways. Their dairy products are known delicacy and luxury in Skyrim and they do keep their pastures and roads between said pastures clean from bandits and wildlife most of the time. Plus getting hit would kill pretty much any human, so best to live the big men with massive clubs and hammers alone alright?"

Tossing more wanted posters into the fire. They came in handy when she needed extra kindling for fires. Beside they always had her true name on them not the nickname she used from before her mother’s passage. Nekoda was dead and needed to stay that way for now. If anyone seen her bounty she would be in trouble.

“This one agrees we need to get out of here but recommends going straight for the White Run. Khajit knows some people who might help.” She didn’t mention that those people owed her a favor and they had connections in the Dark Brotherhood.

She packs up the left over boiled eggs. They wouldn’t be good for long but might serve as a good snack in a few hours.

“This one doesn’t mind teaming up but this one needs to leave this place quickly.” Doubt showed on her face and maybe it was fear but whatever the other emotion was was fleeting as it passed. All she new was she needed away before anyone else could announce her presence in this land.

Putting her pack on she glances from one to the other. “Where shall we be heading.” Her eyes flicking between the 2 of them. She hooks her gem pack to her hip again. Everything packed up and ready.

---------------------------------
FEW HOURS LATER
---------------------------------

Liliana cast a side glance at her travelling companion as they walked, appraising 'Shadow'. The Khajiit, Simi, that had been with them had unexpectedly parted from their company during the past few hours of travel, leaving Lili with only the young nord woman. She didn't know if that was a good thing or not. Without even a real name to call this woman by, Lili was unsure of how much she could trust from the nord's mouth. Still, she understood the need for anonymity sometimes and would at least give Shadow a chance. Besides, she might just prove useful one day. They could be useful for each other. On top of that, she would not like to see anything afoul happen to another young woman. The world was dangerous, something she knew all too well.

She cast her purple-eyed gaze to the other side, more obviously, taking in the changing terrain. Back near the barrow they had come from, it had been forested and cold but, after these few hours of walking, the climate had changed. It was still fairly heavily forested but the temperature had risen considerably, thanks to the broad plans just off the road. Water stood in fair-sized pools out there, with waves of steam and mist floating above them. Hot springs were something of a new experience to Lili. She had heard about them, but this was the first time she had even come this close to any. Perhaps it would be interesting to test out those water at some point. The warmth in the air here was a pleasant change from the typical Skyrim weather and she was sure that a quick dip in the hot springs would be even nicer.

Somewhere ahead, over the trees, she could just make out a few trails of smoke, likely from chimneys at their destination. Which brought Lili to speak. "Shadow... might I ask what it is you seek in this Darkwater Crossing?" she asked, arching one eyebrow slightly to emphasize her curiosity. "You mentioning it being an avenue to other locales, but... well.. I suspect we both have other reasons for still being here." she said fairly bluntly, at least for her. She held up one hand in a gesture of peace. "Let me know if I push too far with my questions but... well, I am curious to know if there is good reason. I do not know how long it might take but if Jarl Blackbriar were to alert any local guard about me, well... I would like to know that I am here for a reason." she added.

The curiosity was eating her up inside though Lili kept it off her face. The way Shadow had spoken of Maven... the fact that she seemed to have fairly extensive knowledge on the thieves guild and Maven, that she was currently out hiding in ruins, and other little hints had lead Lili to suspect that there might be something there, but she needed Shadow to admit it. To explain it. Was she being unfairly prosecuted by the Jarl as well? Or perhaps justly.. Not that that really mattered. Maven Blackbriar was a danger and an annoyance at that, and Lili would be well pleased to deal with her one day.

She turned to looking straight ahead again, one side of her lips pulling into a thin smile which was not reflected in her eyes as she drew herself up straight and proper like the noble she was, pretending to try to look up the road to see where the town that was their destination was. "Well, I suppose Jarl Blackbriar cannot live forever, especially not when she deals with ruffians and disreputable types." she said, just as if she was making idle conversation. "Wouldn't it be unfortunate if she was the one to run afoul of something because of her choices?" she asked sarcastically, ending that with a small chuckle.

"Darkwater Crossing's the closest place I have for a hometown." Saga replied eventually at Lily's questioning on the topic. It was a simple and calm reply without struggling or thinking it up. She just said it as it came to her." Years ago... I was just about 10 winters old I happened to end here from Riften. I originally grew up in Riften for a few years before I left. Anyways, long and dangerous journey later, especially for a girl of 10 winters of age, even with a caravan moving that way, I ended up in Darkwater, I was hurting, hungry, sick and generally not in a good place. Yet the Annekke, the mayor I think you could call her of the village, took me in and helped me out. Brought me back to health and gave me a place to stay and learn. She was already aging back then, nowdays she's an old woman, not fit for adventure, but she was the one that started training me with a bow initially. So Darkwater Crossing holds a special place in my heart." Saga explained and sighed." That and as I did mention, unless you want to head to Windhelm from where we were, Darkwater crossing's the closest and safest bridge to cross the river over and get on the road to Whiterun. Unless you feel like trying to thread the river and it's rapid currents?" She rose an eyebrow at Lily." Besides it's a very active place with lots of tourists sometimes from across Tamriel. Not many places with such a number of active hot springs. Guards mostly just are there to maintain peace, hard to actually look for fugitive when there are that many people."

"She's already aged, but has some more years kicking in her." Shadow replied with a quip. Maven was already over 60 which was rather impressive, same with Annekke. In any case they wouldn't live forever, but she wouldn't put it past Blackbrair to turn herself into a vampire to continue kicking. That woman was obsessed with power and her own influence. Saga had difficulty believing that Maven would just roll over and die peacefully." Been tried by many multiple times, she survived. Hopefully one day somebody succeeds." Saga casually quipped back as it wasn't exactly a secret there were attempts on Maven's life many times by different people. She made lots of enemies, some nowdays dead others still kicking and trying to do her in. Saga hasn't been implicated into anything herself as she had kept a good distance and only hindered Blackbrair's criminal dealings a number of time. She wanted Maven Blackbrair dead, but wasn't stupid. Riften was too dangerous to attempt anything like that. Not with it being the seat of the local branch of hte Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood avoiding dealing with them.

"We are nearly there in fact you can see it now." She pointed out in the not so far distance where the first buildings could be seen." Thats the outlying hot spring housing. The hot springs are very nice and another reason I like this place so much. They do wonders for my health." She chuckled as they got closer and closer. Despite the early morning hours there were already people milling about and people heading for the springs. Some were walled off for the enjoyment of more paying customers. There were rich people htat wanted less people in the springs they used and those were for them. They paid huge prices to use the walled off springs. It kept the town propsering. The mine had turned into it's secondary business. One of the town's guards spotted them approaching and raised a hand in greeting.

" Hello Shadow. Any troubles out there?" He asked in friendly way. Saga was a very regular presence in town and she knew Annekke. So they knew her, that and those of them that served the Imperial Army knew her as a scout years ago. She also hunted bandits and other troubles that wandered the plains north of Darkwater Crossing." Ohh, who's your friend? A noble you are escorting or guiding here?"

"Some bandits, but nothing imporant." She simply replied with a shrug." Well heading to Whiterun from Windhelm. Figured we take the bridge here and use the milder climate this side of Skyrim rather than follow the northern path." Saga replied as they continued onwards and the guard waved them good luck as they joined the crowds. There were stalls selling food, proper stores, houses, inns and so on. Lately every time she visited it felt like there were new buildings. place was growing fast.

"So you want to visit any stores?" She asked, throwing a look at Lily." Most are tourist traps, souvenirs or food places, but there are the occasional pawn shop or apothecary."

Liliana nodded her acknowledgement of what this upcoming town meant to the young nord woman beside her. It would be quaint, of course.. at least compared to Wayrest, but Lili had seen worse in her travels, she was sure. It sounded to be a place that they would not be accosted by those of low morals at least. She began to object to Shadow's idea of heading to Whiterun but stopped. It was a place she had avoided, much as she had avoided many of the bigger towns in Skyrim thus far. Big populations drew both other vampires, and because of that, the zealots that hunted them. Though Lili had some protection against recognition simply by being a more remote strain that had a better ability to hide their condition, it was still a risk that a Vigilant of Stendarr or perhaps one of these Dawnguard that Shadow had mentioned, might have the means to see through her deceptions.

Finally with a small sigh, she nodded. "All right. We will head to Whiterun then from here." she agreed reluctantly. "I admit I skirted to the south of Skyrim, through Cyrodiil and came up north more through the east end of Skyrim. Many of the locations of interest I had heard about were more on this side of the region, but I have all the time in the world to wander. Perhaps Whiterun might hold some interest after all." she explained. She frowned slightly, not looking directly at the nord woman. "Tell me, Shadow, if you can at least... how prevalent are the Vigilants of Stendarr in that city?" she asked, trying to just make it sounds like an off-hand query. "Do you know?"

She looked more carefully when Shadow pointed ahead, taking note of a building finally coming into view through the woods along the side of the road. She smiled at hearing about the hot springs and seeing a hint of excitement in her travelling companion. "Perhaps we can visit some of the springs ourselves before we leave here." she suggested. She began to frown as they got closer though and she could see quite a few people around. "The springs are quite popular, aren't they?" she said, not hiding the disappointment in her voice. Well, perhaps they could find somewhere a bit more private there later. Perhaps even buying some privacy as money was no issue for her. Though she had left home with.. basically nothing, and much of what she had had been lost during her year in Cyrodiil as a captive, well... she had found prey often enough with some money in some quantity or other. Without the need to spend it on food or many other amenities, she had amassed a fair bit and knew that more was often just another dead bandit away.

She almost started when she saw a guard suddenly wave out at them and start out to meet them. She drew up straight, muscles tight, ready to conjure magick at the first hint of trouble. As he drew closer though, he began to speak to Shadow, using her obvious pseudonym and Lili began to relax a little, letting the nord woman take the lead, staying silent until the guard asked about who she was. "Lady Liliana Relin of Wayrest." she introduced, judging that it was no danger her to tell her true identity. "I had business in Windhelm and on the return trip west, I was accosted by some bandits and Shadow here came to my aide." she explained in a lie, hoping that Shadow would not object to it. The bandits had come first and Liliana had dealt with them herself but.. this man did not need to know that. It would not be believable that a noble such as herself would have been poking around a barrow and she judged that Shadow might not like others to know where her hidey-hole had been either.

The guard seem to easily accept both her and Shadow's explanations of their plans and bid them good day, continuing on his patrol. Now they entered the town and began to walk amongst the buildings. Just as she suspected, many were made out of simple materials here, gleaned from the surrounding lands. Simple but reliable. At least it appeared fairly clean.

She glanced over when Shadow asked her if she needed to visit any of the shops. She had no need of food or knick-knacks really. Nor even really herbs and she highly doubted a pawn shop in such an isolated area would have anything useful.... or could it? The wilderness all around here could easily boast hidden gems of the arcane that some fool could have stumbled across... She raised a light finger. "Perhaps the pawn shop... unless you need some food.. or anything else?" she countered in reply. It had been a handful of years now since she had been human, had needed human foods. It was sometimes difficult to anticipate the timing of the needs of someone else after that much time.
